Everyone has a sweet tooth? | Foodie post

Lipgoss girlies,

Do you have a sweet tooth? Everyone has a sweet tooth right?

I've always been a sucker for a piece of cake or chocolate, you can ask anyone in my family that although everyone in my family is a lover of all sweet things. Now I know I'm straying quite afar from my department of the blogging world as you might say, but I thought I'd indulge a little in this blog post I've got for you guys.

My lovely auntie, uncle & cousins paid a visit this past weekend, it was great to see them seen as though we haven't had a great big catch up since before the new year. We do the usual general chat about how college/school is going, (boring) then there's the chat about how much I've grown up and we also have a little gossip (I have a very suitable blog name!) of course you have a gossip, it's what family does. My uncle really is quite the joker & knows how to make me laugh, he was talking about eyebrow threading, don't worry, he doesn't get his eyebrows thread, that would be weird. (ooh maybe I'm not straying too far away from my beauty blog after all. Tip - Never get your eyebrows threaded first, better to get them waxed)

Anyway,

They always bring round some treats for us whether it be home made or bought, so as you can see from the image inserted below, yes... they took a trip to....

Tadaaa!

I've always wanted to make an afternoon out of going to betty's but I'm not fortunate to have one close to where I live, but I would absolutely love to go to the tea room in New York it looks beautiful, ahh one day.. a girl can dream.

I might as well say that I'm a coffee & a tea person so you can consider it afternoon tea OR coffee for me, it's not very often we get any treats from betty's tea room, they were lovely enough to bring us some, although I do know that my mum received a giant Easter egg a couple of Easters ago, it was probably one of the best chocolate egg's I have ever tasted, I definitely recommend, a little bit pricy but well worth it when you've had a little piece.

The packaging is super pretty of course, I find that betty's is your traditional way to enjoy tea with the ceramic teapots decorated with the cute patterns, served in little tea cups with saucers, well that's how I would picture it in my head, very vintage & warm.

A bit like the image below, they looked so good that you didn't want to eat them although obviously we ate them, especially while they were fresh, they were decorated in a simple pretty way with the pink and the yellow complimenting each other with the daisy's piped delicately on the top. They tasted amazing with the soft Victoria sponge like filling on the inside. I found that just one made me full which is great for my thighs (ha ha!) not too heavy though, just enough room left for a cup of tea.

I've had some of the shortbread biscuits also, they're probably one of my favourite kinds of biscuit, they certainly beat shop bought shortbread, that's for sure, it's always great to have something to dunk in your tea or coffee, although personally I think short bread goes better with tea?

Are you a tea or coffee person? I have a taste for twinings English tea, or their fruit teas.

Where are the best tea rooms? I' m thinking about taking a visit to one very soon!

What does your sweet tooth crave? Let me know!

Thank you for reading

Cons of being a blogger | Life Updates

This blog post will possibly reflect my mood so I am really sorry.

I quickly logged on this morning because I just had to put a couple of things out there, I haven't really been feeling myself this week, I've been in quite a gloomy mood.

I'm not really one to put my feelings out on a page loads of people can read, but today I feel overly emotional, things are getting to me & I thought that it should be talked about.

I'm not entirely sure if anyone actually reads my blog, but I guess that's just my own self doubt and disbelief.
I've been a part of the blogging society since the end of February, in that short time I've found out, blogging isn't easy & there's times when you feel like 'What's the point?' this can be for a number of reasons, maybe that someone said something about my blog that was negative which can really knock your confidence when it comes to sharing your blog, or sometimes it's because I never got around to doing a blog post I wanted, it's difficult because my family shares a laptop so some days I don't get the chance.

Sometimes I think to myself... I'm just that 0.1% (probably even less than that) of the internets blogging world, one that many people don't know about, but I still feel pressure to blog thinking maybe this will take me on a path I never thought I'd go down.

I don't have a really flash camera, or a MacBook pro to edit things, I don't have the confidence to video blog or really a set up in my room that is a suitable environment for a vlog, this was my last resort.

Keeping a diary never was a thing I was good at so this was the next best thing, I try really hard to get my blog out there, using other social media sites, I fund all my products you see on my blog & it's not cheap.

There's also this pressure to have the best looking blog, purchasing the latest blog template or paying a massive amount of money for a blog template, which not everyone can do.

Sometimes you miss a spelling mistake and people will point it out like it's a very wrong thing for a person with a blog to do, you're bound to make a few spelling and grammar mistakes when writing a blog, nothing is perfect.

I love blogging but as they say, there's a side to every penny, good and bad, I hope that maybe I can get further with my blog in the future, but for now it's a hobby. And just because i'm really curious... who reads lipgossiping??

I'm happy for anyone to email me, as I want to know what you guys want to see, you can find my email on the Contact me page.

Thanks for reading

Life through my iPhone - MY BIRTHDAY!

As you can see from the title...

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!!

I'm turning 17 today, I kind of feel like it's that awkward age where you can do things like buy a lottery ticket to win loads of money, you can learn drive... but you can't legally drink alcohol!

*** I wouldn't advise you do both at the same time! Be safe, don't drink & drive! ***

I'm not wishing it away though because next year I'll be considered the new generation of adults and I'm not prepared for that yet! So I'm just going to enjoy being 17 as much as I can!

I've received some lovely gifts from my family today and I just wanted to share with you guys!

First of all...

- A lovely pug pillow that says 'When I grow up I want to be a unicorn' which matches my current pug bedding set, it's super cute!!

- Zoella's first novel 'Girl Online' I've heard loads of great things about it. So I'm really looking forward to reading it. It's my new bedtime reading!

- A beautiful pandora charm, it's a silver heart that has little paw prints on it & engraved on the back is 'My sweet pet' I thought it was cute as I already have a cat & we are getting a little pug in just under 4 weeks!

- A cute little body shop set with a range of the different body mists, they smell absolutely gorgeous!

They are called Japanese Cherry Blossom, Indian night Jasmine, Madagascan Vanilla flower & Fijian water lotus.

My favourite one at the moment is the Fijian water lotus! Along with these I also got some body butter called 'Pink Grapefruit' I can't wait to try them all!

- I also got the lovely Kate Moss perfume which is a floral scent, I actually really like it, it's not a really strong scent, like most other floral scents are!

- Last but not least, I got a little goody bag full of the famous 'Millie's cookies' they are my absolute favourites!

This was just a quick little blog post for you guys, I didn't want to miss another day of blogging so I took the opportunity, I hope you enjoy reading my blogs just as much as I enjoy writing them.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend lip goss gals and I'll blog again real soon!

ZoellaBeauty - Why I love it?

Aloha Lip gossipers,

I'm on a roll today, I'm wanting to really catch up on my blogs today as I am a little behind, so I've just sat for about 3 hours sorting pictures and editing text, it's a relief when it's all been edited and published onto my blog, makes me feel all relaxed and happy that I've put something on here for you guys.

Anyway...

I'm sure every blogger or almost every blogger knows the wonderful Zoe Sugg and her YouTube channel 'Zoella' it's a very cliché reason but she honestly encouraged me to do something with a passion of mine, beauty, fashion and lifestyle. So when I heard she had brought out her own beauty range, I was really excited.

She brought out eight beautiful products, and I went out and bought three, I purchased the body lotion 'creamy madly dreamy' I also purchased the cosmetics bag 'Just say yes' and I just had to throw in the Zoella 'Blissful Mistful' body mist.

Zoella Creamy Madly Dreamy -

It is totally tempting dream cream that gives a soft and silky feel to your body. The indulgent lotion pampers your skin, it also contains vitamin E, Aloe and sheer butter and condition the skin, it leaves my skin soft and conditioned, silky and smooth, it has a lovely scent and it doesn't leave the skin sticky or oily, I love this product and I tend to use it after I bath or shower. The cost of this product is £5, it's worth all the money and so much more.

Zoella Blissful Mistful Body spritz -

I love this, it's my favourite out of all the Zoella products, I've been using it everyday recently. It's a super light and feminine body mist to scent yourself with a floral and fruity fragrance, it is enriched with vitamin E and fruit extracts - it is pure bliss in a bottle.
The bottle is very pretty, I'm a little annoyed at the sticker that I struggled for days to get off but other than that I cannot fault it, the price for one of these bottles of bliss is around £8 I purchased mine from a Superdrug store in a town near me and I am positive that you can also purchase all of the zoella range online.

Zoella 'Just Say Yes' Beauty bag -

This is the last of the Zoella beauty products I bought, I've been wanting a decent sized bag for all my everyday make up products & this is the best one, it is super roomy and fits everything into it, it keeps everything super organised on my dressing table keeping all my make up together so it's easy to get to, I love the design, it is true to Zoella, very girly and pink, the price for this lovely piece was around £8-9, very affordable with the great quality. I totally recommend to all you Zoella lovers out there.

So, the question is..

Why do I love it?

I love the Zoella beauty range because it's true to Zoe herself, it's beautiful and affordable, amazing quality products that smell amazing and look gorgeous too, they're perfect for gifts to girls out there that are crazy about Zoella.

Which products do you think I should try next out of the wonderful Zoella beauty range?
Which products to you have?

That's all lipgoss girlies

Benefit Fragrance set - MUST HAVE FOR SPRING/SUMMER

 Hello my lovelies,

Today I wanted to show you these little cute fragrances I got for Christmas last year, I know that we are now in April but I've only just got around to actually using them properly so I thought that I would show you guys.
I wish I had used them sooner because they smell gorgeous.
They are the benefit 'Crescent Row' fragrance set, the names of the fragrances are 'Lee Lee' 'Gina' 'Noelle' & 'Bella' and they all have very different and very lush scents.

They are all in cute little boxes, they all have their individual names on them which I think is a lovely gesture.
I always think that the packaging is cute, very girly and pink, very unique and true to the name and the style of each and every product, personally the pretty colours and the beauty of benefit is what attracted me to the benefit counter in the first place a couple of years ago, a very alluring counter, it's very hard to stay away from.

Laugh with me Lee Lee -

It's a very floral scent, it tells you on the very elegant bottle that there is a light blend of citrus, jasmine and lily blossom. It's a very light scent but it's very feminine great for those that don't like anything too heavy. I use it for everyday wear and it lasts all day without having to keep using it throughout.

Just to add...
These fragrances are the best because they're travel size meaning they fit great in my bag for when I'm out the house or for if I'm staying out for the night.

My place or yours Gina -

This scent is probably my favourite out of the gift set, although they all smell beautiful, I'm a person that goes for quite heavy scents that aren't too sweet. It has a woody alluring affair of pink pepper, wild raspberry and patchouli. I think that the title of the perfume and the colour of the bottle with the hot pink colours and the images on the packaging, give you an idea about the contents of the bottle.

Ring my Bella -

This is another fruity scent that's also quite floral, I think the pictures on the box and the bottle gives that away and it is true to the picture, in my opinion it's the prettiest bottle out of the four.

Why do I love it? It's fruity floral & sweetly seductive. Perfect for spring/summer.

Under my spell Noelle -

I haven't worn this one as much as the others as it's very rare I go out for a special occasion, but it's another one of the night life scents that I'd wear for a meal out in the evening. The scent is exotic, floral and woody, I think it represents a glamorous and mysterious lady Noelle.

The picture above doesn't do any justice or even show the true beauty of these wonderful scents.

Benefit you have once again stolen my heart.

You can also purchase these scents individually in a 30ml bottle, for around £30, I personally think that they're a bit pricy for what they are, I have the travel set and I think that there is a reasonable amount of the fragrance as you do not need to use too much. They're lasting me really well and theres no sign of me running out any time soon.

There's also a bunch of other scents like these just with different names and they're all equally as beautiful, I honestly cannot fault the product, my only down point would be the price of these, but I think you might change your mind once you've had one whiff of this lovely elegantly beautiful collection.

Definitely one to try, let me know what the other scents are like, I would love to hear from you.

That's all my lovelies

Life Through my Camera - Birthdays

Hello my lovelies,

So it's the half term holidays and we are actually half way through, we've just had Easter and I can safely say that the eggs I got given are now all gone & they were so yummy I might be weird but I always think that Easter chocolate sometimes tastes better than the stuff you get normally!i

I said in one of my previous blog posts that it was my boyfriends 17th birthday.

I wanted to get a few little things, we agreed this year we wouldn't buy each other presents as we are sharing Luna and obviously we need to save up to buy things that she's going to need.

I got him a balloon with the happy birthday sign on it & I also got him a badge saying how old he now is which is as I said... 17, I also got him a card of course! Wouldn't be a birthday without a card now would it?

My family also chipped in a little bit and got him a few things, the best thing was probably the cards as very conveniently they had pugs all over them!

He also got the new men's fragrance called "Joop Go" and I don't know about Oliver but I think it smells lush, I most definitely recommend as a present for any male if you're struggling to get them something this year.

His lovely mum made birthday breakfast cookies, I wish I'd have had my camera with me at the time so I could have showed them.
Because it was breakfast we had the slightly healthier version oatmeal and raisin cookies even though we could have had chocolate, I'm opting to be healthier. So far I'm not doing too bad but there is room for improvement i'll admit that.

Overall it was lovely to see him smile, that's all my aim was, to make sure he had a lovely day and I can safely say that, that mission has been accomplished.

*Fist pumps the air*

As we are on the topic of birthdays, my birthday is only 3 days away.

On the 19th of April I shall finally be a whole year older!

Hopefully this year I will pass my driving test and maybe bag myself a car but I'm not getting my hopes up, there's loads of exciting things happening in the next few weeks and I am so excited to share it with you all.

That is all for now my lovelies

My March Favourites

Hello my lovelies,

Two blog posts in one day, I'm doing well today.

*cheers*

I wanted to make up for the blog posts I haven't done the past two weeks due to not having my camera to take pictures, I've also not been home to write a blog, as I often stay at my boyfriends house for a few days and I only have my iPhone with me and I much prefer typing up a blog post on my laptop.

It's the start of a new month which can only mean it's time to look back on my favourite things in March, I plan to do one of these every month just to refresh you lovely readers on my blog posts during the month.

First for my march favourites was definitely meeting the pug puppies which happened at the beginning of march, this is when me and Oliver picked our little pug Luna, we are really excited and I look forward to sharing her with you guys on my blog, she is an absolute cutie, cannot wait to officially introduce her into my blog.

Then during the month I also did a blog about the Lush Bath bombs/Bubble bars these are my absolute favourite out of all the
selection, although I still have one left to review, the products I reviewed in march was the bath bomb 'Sex Bomb' and the bubble bar 'Unicorn Horn' I really enjoyed using them which I explained in the blog post. I also did a collaboration of them both together and they compliment each other perfectly, the smell wasn't too overpowering with both the products so I recommend trying them together. Both take pride place in my top 3 Lush products.

Moving onto some of my other favourites this month, one of my most popular posts was my 'Benefit Haul' which included to a small selection of the products I bought, but my absolute favourite out of the three has to be Benefit's Roller Lash it is without any doubt the best mascara I have ever owned, I took some pictures of before and after I will be sure to put them on here once I have uploaded them from my camera, but that is my top product from Benefit.

Last but by far not the least, you'll know if you read my blog that one of my most recent blog posts was about the very beautiful and elegant Cinderella collection by Mac Cosmetics now if you read that blog post you'll know that I was incredibly lucky because I retrieved the last one at the Mac counter. I got the Pressed powder called 'Coupe D'Chic' it is so beautiful and I am still in absolute love with it. It compliments my skin tone amazingly

Still one of my favourites and a top product from Mac.

**As you can see it is so unbelievably photogenic**

So they're all my favourites this month.
I wonder what my April favourites will be watch out for my April blog posts.
That's all for now my lovelies.

Hello April - Looking Forward & Meeting Luna

 Hello my lovelies,

How are you all?

As you all know I am fairly new to the wonderful world of blogging, I have to say that I am enjoying every single minute of it, I have received loads of positive comments about my blog which has made me really happy, I feel that it keeps me motivated. I have loads of ideas for blogs over the next coming months. Which leads me onto todays blog...

So it is officially April, are you all set for the April showers and the lighter nights?
 I don't think I'm enjoying the lighter nights, I think I haven't yet adjusted.
But, I am really looking forward to this month, there's lots of exciting things happening which include mine and my partners 17th birthday, Easter Sunday and another visit to see the most precious pug in the entire world.

A couple of days ago myself & Oliver (my boyfriend) took a trip out to Huddersfield, Yorkshire, we took the train, I hate to admit it but it was my first time on a train since being a baby, I found it quite scary as I were sat backwards the entire way, made me feel a little bit poorly, but I was more bothered about getting to the right place, constantly checking to see if we got on the right train.

      **Thankfully we did!**

Anyway, I bet you're all wondering why we took that trip,
we went to go visit our little pug puppy Luna, she is honestly the most precious thing in the entire world and I can't quite put into words how excited me and Oliver are to bring her home which unfortunately won't be until the beginning of May, but up until then the excitement is going to be almost unbearable but me and Oliver have both agreed she is the best late birthday present ever.

Looking at the positives since she won't be coming home until May, it gives us time to buy things that she's going to need while she's a puppy, people go over board with excitement and end up spending hundreds of pounds on pet supplies, we don't want to go all out and spend a fortune on things she's going to grow out of, so it would be really appreciated if anyone recommend any UK websites I can use to browse for puppy supplies?

We are getting Luna from a breeder and she was kind enough to provide us with a few things to get us started which helps so much.
I will also be posting a puppy haul nearer to the time, as well as officially introducing you to Luna. You can find Luna on my Instagram which is in a link to the right of this post & I also post loads about her on my Twitter which is also in a link to the right of this blog, I really cannot wait to include videos of her on my blog and watch her grow up from a puppy to an adult as my blog blossoms too.

Thank you for reading,
That's all for now my lovelies
