Be a Princess with Mac - Cinderella

Hello my lovelies!

Firstly, I would like to start this blog with an apology to you all, because I haven't posted a blog in a while, mainly because I haven't been at home to be able to post and take pictures, so I am terribly sorry.

But, here I am... So

In a previous post (Benefit Haul) recently I said I went on a spontaneous shopping trip. I visited the benefit bar but I also paid a little visit to the Mac counter. I admit I went into Mac a little later than I would have wanted because I saw the que for the Mac limited edition Cinderella it was literally a mile long so I decided to walk round and take a look in other shops hoping the que would get smaller.

*what an idiot I was*

When I went back, everything had pretty much sold out, apart from the 'Cinderella Iridescent Pressed Powder' which comes in the shade 'Coupe D'Chic' I was hoping for the Cinderella Lipstick in the shade 'Royal Ball' but that sold out just as I arrived, I got the very last powder in at the counter (Lucky!)

I was over the moon!

Tadaaaa.. Isn't it pretty?

The packaging is absolutely beautiful, it's oil painted so the it gives off a pearly shine when in the light at every angle, even the box was gold on the inside. I hoard boxes, I have a really bad habit, oops.

The woman at the counter offered to try the powder on my cheeks, she used a powder brush and buffed it, the finish is pink and sparkly and I absolutely love it, it compliments my skin and brings out my cheek bones.

The picture doesn't give it much justice but it is very sparkly and shines in the light. I would have loved to have had the lipstick and gloss to go with this beautiful powder.

I really hope they bring it out again because I want to, no I need to but some more!

***While I was there I also picked up some more studio fix foundation in NC15 and a Mac lipstick in the shade 'Dare You' which I can't wait to try!***

That's all I have for now, I will be posting a blog about 'Zoella Beauty' very soon!

Shopping Trip - Benefit Haul

Hello my lovelies!

Another blog post today because I'm feeling in the mood to write loads and loads today, I've just so much going on in my mind!

So...

The other day I went on a random shopping trip...

* yay for shopping *

Before I leave the house I always have my mind set on things that I'd like or things that I have seen or that have had good reviews on other blogs!

As I've said in a different blog post before, I have a benefit and Mac guilty pleasure and I just can't choose one or the other, so I ended up visiting both!
I'm gonna start of with what I bought at benefit... Hence why the title is 'Benefit Haul'

I've been looking for a decent foundation for months and months and I've never been successful, not until I found Mac, they've been the closest match to my skin so far, but I wanted a change and I heard a lot of good things about benefits foundation 'Hello Flawless oxygen wow' it's a brightening makeup, also oil free and has SPF 25.
I got the foundation in the shade 'Ivory' and that's the lightest shade they have, which I was a little bit worried about because any other foundation in Ivory has always been way too dark for my pale skin, but the lovely girls at the benefit counter happily helped me out and let me try the foundation and to my surprise it's pretty much a perfect match when blended, it's silky smooth and leaves my skin soft to touch, it's a light to medium coverage but can be built to, recently my skin has been well behaved and I've only needed a light cover which is great! The bottle is compressed meaning it lets you know when you need more, which I absolutely love about this product!

(I also got a cute little pouch of primer which I've wanted to try!)

Now, I'm pretty sure every beauty blogger has been hearing loads of good things about this...
Roller Lash by benefit, I've waited and waited to purchase this and now I finally have it!!

And tadaaaa here it is...

It is probably the best mascara since 'they're real' I no longer need my lash curlers, I've got pretty short eye lashes too but this makes them look 2 times longer than their actual length which I am very happy about!
It says it lifts lashes by 97% it gives a longer lasting curl than any other mascara would!

It also makes my eyes look bigger which I needed!

Has a cute curved brush that separates the lashes lifts and curls them and the formula can last up to 12 hours!

The packaging and tube is super cute and the lid is actually rubber for extra grip which I find super useful! I paid £19.50 for roller lash, in my eyes that's money well spent! Over all in my opinion after using this, it's the best mascara I've used and I highly recommend girlies!

And last but by far not the least, I purchased the 'lollibalm' which I've had before it's a lip hydrator and it has a pink tint to it when applied, I find that it softens my lips and stops them becoming dry and cracked, I often get badly chapped lips in the winter
and using Vaseline all the time is boring, so it's really great that this gives a little bit of colour meaning you don't have to always use a lipstick if you don't want!

They have it in 3 other shades too a lighter pink and a darker kind of coral colour!
This is around £15, and it's in the range with lollitint which is also a really great product!

And that's my benefit haul! It's quite long so I do apologise but I'll leave it here!

I'd like to hear from you other benebabes about which products you use! Feel free to leave comments!

Mother's Day Surprise

Hello my lovelies!

So I would just like to say to my wonderful mum (Hello mum) Happy Mother's Day. Today is a great way to think about all that mums do for us, it reminds us also that we should appreciate everything that they have done and still do.

I'm a strong believer in 'it's better to give than to receive' & that it's not about the gifts, but that it's about love and happiness. But I wanted to get my mum something special this year as last year, I hate to admit it, but I did pretty poor.

Every year I always panic & struggle to find my mum a gift that she really wants whether it's her birthday or Christmas, because I always get the 'You don't need to get me anything' talk, but secretly I know deep down she'd like a little something, luckily this year she dropped a few hints & personally I think this year I've done an exceptionally great job. Even if I do say so myself!

When I went shopping, everybody seemed to have the same idea as me, everyone rushing around deciding what to get their mum for Mother's Day, i'd already planned what I wanted to purchase a few days before, I went a picked up the 30ml Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream fragrance, it's round about £40 for this bottle for those that may want to know, this is one of the items my mum had been dropping hints about this for several months now, she's a lover of all floral scents and so far just about every Marc Jacobs is floral scented, I'd have loved to of got her the limited edition Marc Jacobs sorbet, but they are so limited in numbers and I found it rather expensive, but I think they both smell equally gorgeous!

Next after a lot of procrastinating, I ventured into pandora, my mum doesn't own alot of pandora so I thought it was maybe time to change that. Well I would imagine all girls will agree it's really difficult to remove your eyes from all the pretty things they have displayed in pandora. It's just so lovely!

Rings are my mums favourite type of jewellery so I went and purchased the 'Romance Ring' with the clear stones decorated around the silver band.

Before I went shopping I even tried on all her other differnet rings to decide what size to get her, fortunately she has near enough the same size fingers as me so that was lucky!

Now, ideally she'd have loved the purple stones as purple is her favourite colour but, they had none left in purple in a size 54 which was really sad, I even checked out another pandora store at the other side of the town but I decided that the clear is just as beautiful and it will pretty much go with anything.

I own a range of pandora myself and I adore their products and how each season they bring out a new unique collection, I am really looking forward to the spring collection which I believe will be out before the end of March!

The smile on mums face made me happy! But it's not about the gifts, it's just appreciating her and all that she does and realising that without her I don't know what I'd do!

What did you get for your mum this Mother's Day? Do you think it's better to give than to receive?

That's all for now my lovelies!

Makeup Monday - Mac

Hello my lovelies,

Woke up feeling not so good today so I thought I'd do some blogging to take my mind off things, used the new family camera today and it's so goos, as you'll see in the quality of the photos today, I'll post at the bottom what type of camera it is :)

Today is Monday and I'm sure many of us have the Monday blues, as I do but you can brighten it up with a little lipstick, lipsticks are after all one of a girls best friend, today I'm wearing a Mac lipstick it's one of my favourites and it is called 'speed dial'

I bought this not so long ago and it's a colour I never thought I'd try, it's the 'cremesheen' finish and it's a pinky red colour as I'll show you below, it is the tube on the right.

Now, Mac are well known for their lipsticks, because I don't know one girl that can resist the lip counter at the Mac beauty bar, because I can't. Every time I go in I just have to have a look and try out different colours.

I don't really online shop at Mac unless I am shopping for a specific thing that I have tried before otherwise I advise you go to the shop and try it out first. Especially when shopping for a foundation etc.

The tube on the right is another Mac lipstick I own and it's called 'pervette' as it shows in the above pictures it looks pretty dark, the finish is 'glaze' and I didn't realise how light it was till I applied it, it's a shimmery and sparkly lilac kind of finish and it has to be applied a couple of times in the day to keep it looking nice, it's lasted me a good 2 months so far and there's a lot left in the tube, it's different to the other colours Mac offers, as i'm pale anyway I thought it went well with my skin tone, I use a lilac lip liner by maybeline with this colour to make my lips look a little bigger, I find it gives the best possible look you can get with the liner. I love both the colours and I'm looking at buying the shade 'Dare You' any comments are welcome.

So...

Which Mac lipsticks do you own? Which colours are the best for pale skin?

I'd really like to know as I want to take a trip back to Mac and pick up and few new things to try! Feel free to comment and leave some feedback and tips, it would be greatly appreciated!

That's all for now lipgossipers!

Magical March - Lush Bath bombs

Hello my lovelies!

Hope you are all having a magical March! It's almost spring, eeeekk! And the most beautiful pug puppies have just been born, I will be introducing Luna the pug very soon! Watch out for it. But for now...

I promised on my Instagram that I would be doing a new post, so here it is, my boyfriend took a trip to lush a couple of weeks back near Valentine's Day and bought me a few things including a bath bomb called 'sexbomb' and the bubble bar 'unicorn horn' and I finally got around to using them a few days ago, they're my absolute favourite and I'm so sad that the bubble bar was only a Valentine's special because it was literally lush!

Unicorn Horn - They do exist!!

I ran just a bath full of hot water and crumbled it up and it turned the water a very light pink and the little sparkles floated in the water reflecting off the light which was really pretty, it creates quite a few bubbles which I didn't expect but yes this is one of my favourites and I really do hope they bring it back again soon!

Sex Bomb

I absolutely adore this bath bomb so much I recently got another one to use aswell as well as the 'Golden Egg' and the 'Twilight' bath bomb which I will also do a review about later on...

This melted pretty fast into the water it fizzed and had a whizz around the bath and even turned the bubbles pink and purple (I have to have lots and lots of bubbles lol!) the little flower in the bath bomb even floats on the top of the water, super pretty and it wasn't harsh on my skin it actually left it feeling soft to touch afterwards!

Lush is one place that I've only just introduced myself into and so far it's one of my favourites for skin products, I haven't found anything I can fault and its just so affordable, and it makes you feel good about yourself and I mean come on they turn the water different colours, who doesn't want that! Seriously guys you should try them out, please comment and give me some ideas about which bath bombs you've tried! That's alll for now my lovelies!

Body Shop Goodies!

Hello my lovelies!

Haven't posted in a few days due to work and things, but I'm gonna kick this one of by talking about the body shop. This place is certainly part of my top 3. I own a few things from body shop and the products I own range from fragrance to skin care, I've still yet to try the make up and I shall be doing after hearing all the good things about their cosmetics. But for now, from the ones I own and have tried I absolutely love and cannot fault.

This is just a few of the body shop products I own, mostly fragrances because they smell absolutely amazing. They come in handy for travelling especially for your bag when you're out, so you can use as and when you need to. The coconut body mist is most definetly one of my favourites and I've bought and replaced it twice for myself in the past, it reminds me of holidays, it's so refreshing and light and not too over powering, it's nearly time for a new bottle.
I also use the purifying oil that can be applied to your body, face and hair, I personally use it for my hair, it makes it a lot shinier and gives it moisture after a wash and leaves it super soft. It's also the grapefruit scent and it smells lush which is a massive bonus, I was a bit skeptical about it to begin with because sometimes you can apply too much and end up having to re-wash your hair. But no, I can't find any fault. It's a must have.
Body shop prices are also something you can't complain about, they're very reasonable and the amount you of product you get for the price is great. I highly recommend, the staff are really friendly and they let you try out different products and they recommend for differnt skin times and there are testers around which is really helpful when it comes to choosing a new fragrance, I think it's time I took a visit to body shop soon again! Hopefully you will be too!
