Mother's Day Surprise

Hello my lovelies!

So I would just like to say to my wonderful mum (Hello mum) Happy Mother's Day. Today is a great way to think about all that mums do for us, it reminds us also that we should appreciate everything that they have done and still do.

I'm a strong believer in 'it's better to give than to receive' & that it's not about the gifts, but that it's about love and happiness. But I wanted to get my mum something special this year as last year, I hate to admit it, but I did pretty poor.

Every year I always panic & struggle to find my mum a gift that she really wants whether it's her birthday or Christmas, because I always get the 'You don't need to get me anything' talk, but secretly I know deep down she'd like a little something, luckily this year she dropped a few hints & personally I think this year I've done an exceptionally great job. Even if I do say so myself!

When I went shopping, everybody seemed to have the same idea as me, everyone rushing around deciding what to get their mum for Mother's Day, i'd already planned what I wanted to purchase a few days before, I went a picked up the 30ml Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream fragrance, it's round about £40 for this bottle for those that may want to know, this is one of the items my mum had been dropping hints about this for several months now, she's a lover of all floral scents and so far just about every Marc Jacobs is floral scented, I'd have loved to of got her the limited edition Marc Jacobs sorbet, but they are so limited in numbers and I found it rather expensive, but I think they both smell equally gorgeous!

Next after a lot of procrastinating, I ventured into pandora, my mum doesn't own alot of pandora so I thought it was maybe time to change that. Well I would imagine all girls will agree it's really difficult to remove your eyes from all the pretty things they have displayed in pandora. It's just so lovely!

Rings are my mums favourite type of jewellery so I went and purchased the 'Romance Ring' with the clear stones decorated around the silver band.

Before I went shopping I even tried on all her other differnet rings to decide what size to get her, fortunately she has near enough the same size fingers as me so that was lucky!

Now, ideally she'd have loved the purple stones as purple is her favourite colour but, they had none left in purple in a size 54 which was really sad, I even checked out another pandora store at the other side of the town but I decided that the clear is just as beautiful and it will pretty much go with anything.

I own a range of pandora myself and I adore their products and how each season they bring out a new unique collection, I am really looking forward to the spring collection which I believe will be out before the end of March!

The smile on mums face made me happy! But it's not about the gifts, it's just appreciating her and all that she does and realising that without her I don't know what I'd do!

What did you get for your mum this Mother's Day? Do you think it's better to give than to receive?

That's all for now my lovelies!

Love from Baloo xx
